Family & Children's Association Welcomes New Trustee

Mineola-based human care agency Family & Children’s Association recently welcomed Daniel Griesmeyer, CIMA, to its board of trustees. Griesmeyer is a Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in Garden City where he counsels clients on financing and expanding their business, minimizing taxes, preserving their wealth, managing risk and protecting assets.

Prior to Morgan Stanley, Griesmeyer was a partner in a public accounting and financial advisory firm where he managed over $300 million of endowment assets and advised clients on investment policy and strategy, portfolio construction, manager due diligence and selection, and performance analysis.  In addition to working with not-for- profitclients, he also serves as a board member of the Massapequa Hall of Fame. 

Griesmeyer is an alumnus of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania’s Certified Investment Management AnalystSM program and graduated summa cum laude from C.W. Post University.

Dan lives in Massapequa with his wife Carolyn and their daughters Milania and Farrah.  When not advising clients or enjoying time with family, he enjoys snowboarding, surfing, or training for triathlons.
