In the Scriptures, God tells us that the prerequisite for authentic wisdom and knowledge is "the fear of the Lord". This is not a "scary" fear such as one we have towards spiders or the boogie man. This is a respectful acknowledgement that the final word goes to an all-powerful, sovereign, just and good Creator who is Lord over all.
Let's just pretend for a moment that this is true. If it is, then what do we have when we remove God as the beginning point of our thinking? Do we indeed have authentic wisdom and knowledge?
