Mineola Rabbi Leads Hanukkah Celebration at Eisenhower Park

Rabbi Anchelle Perl joins county, local officials for celebration of third night of Hanukkah.

Rabbi Anchelle Perl of Chabad Mineola led a celebration of the third night of Chanukah with Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano on December 10 at a menorah lighting ceremony held at Eisenhower Park.

Residents and other local officials also attended and featured traditional music courtesy of Shlomo Drebin.

“I was honored to participate in this beautiful celebration that symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness,” said County Executive Mangano. “Every year during this time we rejoice and give thanks for the blessings of the season and for the blessings that surround us each and every day of the year. I wish all Nassau County residents a happy and healthy holiday season.”

I'm sorry Marie but there is no information about when the project will actually start. TheRead More developer had requested an extension from the board at a previous meeting and we do not know of a firm start date. When we do receive one, we will most certainly publish it.
