Spring 2011 is all about maxi dresses, rompers, bell bottoms and tons of other trends! But it’s not just about the style of the clothes you’re wearing – remember to pay close attention to the details.

This week, I am going to be talking about prints that are a wardrobe must-have this season.

Find out what's happening in Mineolawith free, real-time updates from Patch.

  1. Lace – This delicate trim adds a girly touch to just about any outfit.
  2. Animal Prints – Spots and stripes are here to stay! What better way to go from basic to bold?!
  3. Stripes – You can take this style from casual daytime to flirty nighttime while looking crisp and polished from dawn to dusk.
  4. Florals – You know what they say, "April showers bring May flowers" and we’ve had plenty of rain this past month! It’s time to bring out your floral shirts, dresses, skirts and even accessories. This feminine pattern can vary from bright and playful to dark and subtle, and is flattering either way!
  5. Eyelet – This detailed design is showing up in everything from sundresses to wedges. Slip it on, and instantly get into the spring/summer mood.

I scoured the racks at some Mineola and Garden City stores such as H&M, ,  and more.

Click on the pictures to see the prints with your own eyes. And remember, don't just rush through spring to get to summer, enjoy the beautiful weather while looking and feeling great in these popular prints.

What print is in your closet this season?! Leave a comment and let me know!!

Xoxo, Maria
