Dorothea Fanning passed away on April 10, 2013 at the age of 87
She was born in Mineola, N.Y., and moved to Port St. Lucie 25 years ago from North Babylon, N.Y.
She retired as an invoice supervisor for J.C. Penny.

Survivors include her son, Joseph J. Fanning III of Sayville, N.Y.; daughters, Robin A. Fitzgerald and Alison A. Rubano, both of Port St. Lucie; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Fanning, Jr.
