He was a proud graduate of Chaminade High School, received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn. He completed an OBGYN residency at King’s County and Bellevue Hospitals where he was the chief resident. Beloved by his patients, during the span of his career he safely delivered over 8,000 babies.

Aside from his busy career as a solo-practitioner, Ed enjoyed raising, training, and breeding Morgan horses. Throughout the years, his farm produced several national champions.
