Frank Brignoli III, 63, Counselor

Former Mineola resident passed away on Feb. 13, 2013.

Frank Brignoli III of Satellite Beach, FL passed away on Feb. 13, 2013 at the age of 63.

He was born on Sept. 18, 1949 in Mineola, NY.

Brignoli is survived by his father, Frank Brignoli Jr., of Cape Cod, MA; sister, Michele Shortle, and brother-in- law, Bob Shortle, of New York. He also has aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who love and think well of him and are grieving his passing.

He was predeceased by his mother, Patricia Anne Dugin Brignoli; little sister Kathleen Laina; along with both grandparents Brignoli and Dugin. He graduated from Walt Whitman High School, in Huntington, Long Island, New York, in 1968.

He had a love of meeting new people and seeing new places, travelling from New York to California and back again after graduation,in the late 1960's. In 1971, he journeyed on a pilgrimage to Israel working in a kibbutz and living a life of service. He was honored there with a silver ring made from an Israeli coin. 

He later earned a degree in counseling which enabled him to competently reach people hurt by life, particularly the young. He made speaking appearances in Manhattan at full gospel meetings.

He left Long Island 12 years ago after his mother died in 2001 and settled in Satellite Beach, FL, going to Our Father's House, a local church of ministries, serving and helping troubled souls. He also was employed for several years at Advanced Detection Systems (ADS) in Melbourne Fl., working in sales and collections.

Brignoli became active in numerous organizations while attending services at Our Father's House in Satellite Beach. Two of his favorite organizations included the Indian River Via De Cristo and Kairos Prison Ministries. Through the Kairos Prison Ministry, he did over 20 weekends at the Indian River Correctional Institution in Vero Beach and Brevard Correctional Institution in Cocoa.

Frank never owned a piece of land. He does now. He has a beautiful little garden plot in Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge FL.

Frank never owned a house. He does now. He lives in one of our Lord's mansions-forever. With hope and faith in our hearts, we all will be invited to visit with him again-one fine eternal day in Heaven.

There will be a memorial service Saturday, March 2, 2013, at 4 p.m. at Our Father's House at 535 Cassia Blvd., Satellite Beach, FL. 32937, with Pastor Larry Booth presiding. The service will be followed by a reception and supper in the adjacent Fellowship Hall. 

Cremation arrangements are by Beach Funeral Home in Indian Harbor Beach and Frank's final resting place will be at Florida Memorial Gardens, in Rockledge FL.
