Fred J. Riegel of Mineola passed away on April 1, 2013.
He was the beloved husband of Gay; father of Donna (John) Desmond, Scott (Irene) Riegel and Stacy (Robert) Szoyka; grandfather of Ashley, Kyle, Kieran and Kelsey; brother of Charles & Robert Riegel.
A wake was held on April 2 and 3 at Cassidy Funeral Home in Mineola.

A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 4 at 9:45 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church with interment at Calverton National Cemetery.
