George E. Kelapire of Mineola, formerly of East Willison, NY, passed away on Oct. 10, 2013 at the age of 84. He was born on Sept. 14, 1929.
He was the beloved husband of Betty; devoted father of Barbara Filis (Nick), Michael (Ronnie), John (Debbie) and Lisa Feimer (Bill); loving grandfather of Justin, Natalie, William, Nicholas, Ryan, Andrew, James, Cleo, Matthew and Joseph; dear brother of Norman and Dorothy.
A wake was held on Oct. 13-14 at Weigand Bros. Funeral Home in Williston Park, NY. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. at St. Nicholas Albanian Orthodox Church in Jamaica Estates, NY. Interment will be at Cypress Hills Cemetery.
