Janet Caverly, 62, Operating Room Manager

Janet Anne Caverly, of Allentown, passed away on Sunday morning, Feb. 10, 2013, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Salisbury Township with her family and friends by her side at the age of 62.

She was born of the Catholic faith in Mineola, NY as the daughter of the late Edward Foley and Margaret (Gough) Pickhardt and was the proud and loving mother of Jenny Angel Kindt and Wade Edward Caverly of Catasauqua.

She attained her nursing degree, and worked for 26 years at the Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network as the Manager of O.R. Scheduling. Caverly loved to travel the world and enjoyed fine foods and good times with friends and family.

She is survived by her daughter, Jenny A. Kindt and her husband, Jeffrey D., of Whitehall; and son, Wade E. Caverly and his wife, Robin A. (Kostecky) of Catasauqua; she was predeceased by her beloved brother, Brian Foley in 1995.

Rev. Father Edward J. Essig officiated a prayer service on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 in the Gilbert Funeral Home in Whitehall, PA.

Following the services at the funeral home, a celebration of her life was held at the Slovak Social Center on the corner of 5th and Grove Streets in N. Catasauqua. The interment was private.
