Lustig was born on Feb. 16, 1940 in Mineola Long Island, NY to the late Charles J. Lustig and Ida Frances Murtaugh Lustig. He had lived in the area for 32 years and was a member of St. James Episcopal Church.
He worked as Radiology Administrator at Central Mississippi Medical Center for 18 years. He was a former member of the Antique Vehicle Club of Mississippi and a Charter member of the World War II Museum in New Orleans, LA. He was a lover of animals and an avid supporter of animal rescue. He also loved baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Donna D. Lustig of Brandon, MS; two daughters, Kelly J. Haskett (Clay) and Tara J. Evans (Jeff) both of Houston, TX; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.
Memorials may be made to any animal rescue league or the World War II Museum in New Orleans, LA.
