Madeline McDermott of Mineola, NY passed away on Nov. 21, 2013 at the age of 99. She was born on Sept. 21, 1914.
She was the beloved wife of the late James John McDermott, Sr.; loving mother of the late James Jr. "Jimmy" and Richard; dearest grandmother of Chris (Maria), Doug, Greg (Marilyn), Debbie (Scott) and Kathy and great-grandmother of five.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, Nov. 25 at 9:45 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor RC Church, 205 Jackson Avenue, Syosset. Interment will be at L.I. National Cemetery, Pinelawn, NY. Arrangements entrusted to the Beney Funeral Home.
