Robert G. Swanson, a longtime resident of Massapequa Park passed away on Dec. 29, 2012 at the age of 67.
He was born to Harold and Lillian (Watson) in Brooklyn on March 20, 1945 and was a lawyer in the New York City Family Court System.
Swanson was a graduate of Chaminade High School in 1964, SUNY Cortland in 1969, and Gonzaga Law School in 1976.
He is predeceased by his parents and brother Paul. He is survived by his sisters and their spouses Carol & Bill Dyer, Janice & Sean Jones, nephews and nieces, Tom, Jeff, & Ali Dyer, Kristen & Erik Jones and many cousins.
Private services will be held in the chapel at St. Charles Cemetery on Jan. 12, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. Donations in memory of Swanson may be made to Another Step, an organization that helps people with autism & their families at 706 Executive Blvd., Valley Cottage, NY 10989.
