Mineola businessman passed away on December 10.

Wayne G. Baylis passed away on Dec. 10, 2012 at the age of 64.

Born Aug. 3, 1948, he was the adored son of Gordon and Ruth Baylis and the late Alice Baylis. He lived in both Huntington and Miller Place and owned and operated Barnwell Auto Repair in Mineola and Shirts of Greenport in Greenport.

He is survived by his wife Patricia and children Christopher and Sheila and TJ and Jessica. He is also survived by siblings Gary and Lee. He was the son-in-law of Mary and the late Russell Thone and brother-in-law of Richard Thone, Kathy and Anthony Truzzolino, Bonnie and Brian Boylan and Michelle and Gale Stokkers.

A funeral was held on Dec. 12, 2012 at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, LI. with a funeral service on Dec. 13 and a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 370 7th Avenue, Suite 1802, New York, NY 10001.

I'm sorry Marie but there is no information about when the project will actually start. TheRead More developer had requested an extension from the board at a previous meeting and we do not know of a firm start date. When we do receive one, we will most certainly publish it.
