Being a resident of Mineola for more than 30 years, I had the opportunity to know Wayne. I always found him to be a pleasuable and personal indiviual who brought his business to another level. Over the years, I have recommended people to Barnwell, over and over, always with the same tone of "Not the cheapest, but great quality work done right for a fair price." In later years, Wayne taught and turned the rains of the business over to TJ, while he pursued the T-shirt business, although no one really knew "why". Wayne enjoyed motorcycle trips with his wife all over the country, and was known to live his life to the fullest. It's rare to run across someone like Wayne, he will be missed. TJ continues his Dad's work with the same approuch.
