On March 9, the Mineola Junior Fire Department held it 18th Annual Pasta Dinner. Over 700 people attended this year’s dinner. Every year the community joins together for the junior’s pasta dinner fundraiser. At the dinner parents, firefighters and volunteers from Chaminade High School were there to lend a hand in serving food to the many people who attended the affair. Of course the most popular station was the desert bar with its many cakes puddings and the sundae bar. It was an enjoyable afternoon to be with friends and family. The dinner was declared a success by the organizers.
