On House Adjourning Without Approving Sandy Aid

Sen. Jack Martins issued the following statement on unvoted $60 billion aid package.

The following statement was issued by Sen. Jack Martins following the adjournment of the U.S. House of Representatives without voting on a $60 billion aid package to the areas affected by Hurricane Sandy.

It’s an embarrassment and a disgrace. There are people struggling from the effects of a devastating storm. To  just go home without even a vote is inexcusable.
