School budget vote

Well, the residents of Mineola, many of whom have children in the schools but don't own homes, have once again voted to increase the school budget. This happens every year, without fail, and it's been going on for years. Why do those of us who don't have children in the schools have to pay for the education of those tax-and-spend parents who do? Most of the money goes to paying the teachers and administrators. What a ripoff!
