Check Forger Sought in Mineola

Police are seeking information identifying woman who cashed forged check.

The Nassau County Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the a female suspect in connection with a forgery which occurred in Mineola.

According to detectives, On Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011 at approximately 10 a.m., the unknown female subject was observed inside the Bank of America located at the corner of Mineola Boulevard and Jericho Turnpike. The subject fraudulently cashed a check in the amount of $3,726.35. She is described as female white, wearing a black jacket and glasses.
