Cops: Mineola Man Led Police on High Speed Chase in West Virginia

Dave Eraco allegedly sped through construction zone, led police on 111 mph chase.

A Mineola man is being held in West Virginia after he reportedly led state troopers on a high speed chase through a construction zone.

Dave Eraco, 29, was arrested on Friday after he allegedly sped through a construction zone on Interstate 81, driving 40 mph over the speed limit.

According to the Martinsburg Journal

... West Virginia State Police were patrolling Interstate 81 south, when Eraco was observed traveling 95 mph in the posted 55 mph construction zone. The document states that Eraco then led the trooper on a chase, during which time his speed reached 111 mph.

Eraco is charged with speeding in a construction zone, reckless driving and driving without a license. He is being held on a $9,000 bond.
