Cops Need Help in Mineola Robbery

The robbery took place at TD Bank on Jericho Turnpike.

Nassau Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Monday at 2:17 p.m. in Mineola.

According to detectives, a male entered TD Bank, 540 Jericho Turnpike, and produced a demand note to a teller, demanding cash. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the man then fled the bank in an unknown direction. 

During the robbery there were six employees and three customers present, and no injuries, police said.

The man was described as being between five-foot-eight and five-foot-ten, with a slim build. He was wearing a brown hoodie, baseball cap and sunglasses.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding this incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
