Two 19-year-olds have dead after their car reportedly slammed into a tree early Wednesday morning, reported Nassau County Police.

Steven Clancy, 19, of Mineola, was driving north on Roslyn Road in Roslyn Heights when he lost control of the car, detectives said. The 2004 Volkswagen Jetta struck a curb and propelled into a tree in the backyard of an Oak Lane home, officers said.

Clancy and his passenger, Javier Gonzalez, 19, also of Mineola, were pronounced dead at the scene minutes after the collision by a Nassau County AMT, police reported.

Cops are continuing the investigation into the crash.
