The following arrest information was supplied by several local police departments. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate convictions.

Two youths were arrested for trespassing at the Garden City Yard on July 4 at 10 p.m.

Appearance tickets were issued to four males age 17 from Garden City for harassment on July 6 after they intentionally threw eggs from a moving vehicle striking a 33-year-old victim who was riding his bike on Newmarket Road causing him to receive a minor injury to his leg. A youth under the age of 16 was also cited for this offense.

Police report a burglary at a Brompton Road residence on July 8 where a side garage door was found pried open. A bedroom was found ransacked and a computer valued at $1,000 was found missing.

A duffle bag containing a cell phone, $270, a soccer referee uniform as well as other personal items was reported stolen from the Community Park soccer field on July 10.

A Freeport man was arrested on Thursday afternoon after allegedly fleeing from New York State Police and hitting another car on the Southern State Parkway in West Hempstead. The driver, Hamlet Pennicooke, 23, of Freeport, was arrested for reckless endangerment first degree, fleeing an officer in a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, leaving the scene of a personal injury auto accident and 15 traffic violations. The defendant was held for arraignment in Nassau County First District Court.
