Mineola

A motor vehicle accident occurred on the Northern State Parkway at about 2:04 p.m. on March 31. Two cars reportedly collided in the east-bound lane around exit 30/31 causing major delays.

Garden City Park

A car crashed into an extension of a building near Jericho Turnpike and Herricks Road around 9:19 a.m. on April 1. Members of the responded to the scene.

Westbury

A motorcycle accident occurred at 530 Old Country Road at 6:27 p.m. on April 5. Police ambulance in transporting the aided.

Garden City

A truck fire occurred on South Street and Ring Road on April 6 at 2:18 a.m. The contents of a dump truck were reportedly on fire. The Westbury Fire Department responded to the scene.

While investigating a domestic disturbance at a Garden City residence on March 31, officers arrested a female 42-year-old for . The mother had struck the victim several times with a plastic hanger causing the victim to suffer welts and contusions.

Police arrested a truck driver for driving while impaired on drugs on March 31 as well as leaving the scene of an accident, speeding and failure to stop at a stop sign. A Garden City resident reported to the police department that he had just observed a tractor trailer traveling north on Franklin Avenue attempting a right turn on to Main Street when it struck a traffic light pole knocking it down. The vehicle then backed up onto Franklin Avenue and fled the scene northbound on Franklin Avenue. 

Three cars were vandalized while parked in West Hempstead between March 26 and March 28. The first incident occurred on St. Pauls Place, where the driver's side window of a rental vehicle was damaged. The next day, a victim on S. Cherry Valley Avenue reported finding scratches on the passenger and driver sides of their vehicle. That night, another person reportedly broke the driver side window of a car parked on Woodfield Road.

An unknown person reportedly threw a brick through the front window of a building located on Hempstead Avenue in West Hempstead between March 28 and March 29. 

An unknown person broke a window at the King Kullen store located on New Hyde Park Road in Franklin Square on March 29.
