Crimes Nearby: Man Robbed at Roosevelt Field for X-Box

Cops are looking for the men who allegedly held a victim at gunpoint before stealing an X-Box video game system Wednesday.

According to police, at 4:26 p.m., the male victim was putting the X-Box in his trunk after leaving Roosevelt Field Mall when two unknown males, both described as black and in their 20s, displayed a silver handgun and demanded the victim open his trunk. Click here to read the full story.

Woman Robbed on Mineola Boulevard

Nassau County police said a woman was threatened with a knife and robbed Friday evening after she returned to her car in Mineola.

According to police, a 42-year-old woman was placing items in her car at 120 Mineola Blvd. when she was approached by a masked man who then took the woman's purse and fled on foot towards Willis Avenue. Click here to read the full story.

Hillside Avenue BP Gas Station Robbed Friday Morning

Nassau County Police are investigating a robbery that occurred on Friday, Nov. 29, at 5:25 a.m. at the BP Gas Station in New Hyde Park.

According to detectives, a 31-year old male employee was working inside the BP Gas Station at 200 Hillside Ave. when an unknown male subject entered the store and asked to buy a cigar. The subject pretended not to have money and exited the store. Click here to read the full story.

Man Arrested for Garden City Burglary

A Hempstead man was arrested Tuesday in connection with aWashington Avenue residential burglary earlier this month, Garden City police said.

The 25-year-old forcefully entered the home at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 3 and stole assorted jewelry, police said. Click here to read the full story.
