Williston Park
A car hit a pole at the corner of Willis Avenue and Hillside Avenue on November 7 at about 4:30 p.m. LIPA crews also responded to the scene to repair live wires which were down across Hillside Avenue. There were no injuries reported.

Garden City
A Garden City woman was arrested Wednesday night after . She was traveling with her two children, ages 9 and 11, at the time of the accident, police said.

A 13-year-old youth was arrested and referred to the Family Court for building on October 13.
A 40-year-old Hempstead man was arrested on Stewart Avenue at Clinton Road after two-vehicle property damage auto accident. It was also determined that the subject was wanted on a federal immigration deportation warrant. He was placed under arrest and transported to Nassau County Detention Center awaiting transfer to federal authorities.
A cyclist was hit by a Town of Hempstead sanitation truck on the West Hempstead-Hempstead border early Thursday morning. e suffered head and neck injuries, and was transported by Nassau County EMS ambulance to a nearby hospital.
