The following arrest information was supplied by several local police departments. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate convictions. 

Williston Park

Police were on the lookout November 12 for a man who left the scene of a motor vehicle accident involving injuries at 33 Temple St. at about 12:47 p.m. Last seen in the area of Willis Avenue and Harvard Street, he is described as a 6-ft. man with an accent and at the time was wearing a sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Garden City

Two men were of on November 10, fleeing with about $150 in cash. Anyone with information on the incident is urged to call Det. Kevin Madden at 516-465-4109.

Malverne-West Hempstead

Fifth Precinct POP officers conducted investigations of two West Hempstead businesses for the . They arrested two individuals, one from a business on Hempstead Turnpike on November 9 and another from a store on Woodfield Road in Lakeview on November 10. Nassau County POP officers also conducted an investigation on Nov. 9 at an unnamed business on W. Sunrise Highway in Valley Stream and charged a man for selling alcohol to minors.

A female driver hit a tree in Malverne Friday afternoon, . The car struck a large tree on the west side of Franklin Avenue just past the intersection. No other cars were involved. It was not known at the time if the car had been traveling down Franklin Avenue or if the driver had made a turn off of Cornwell Avenue, and whether speed played a factor.
