Props to the volunteers who come out in all hours, in all weather conditions, to fight these fires. It's very sad that a life was lost, but more could have perished if this fire had spread to other homes as it surely would have if it weren't for heroic efforts of our volunteer smoke-eaters. God bless them and keep them safe.

We will continue to strive for the best training, the latest equipment but ultimately ithe success of our endeavors relies upon the dedicated men and women of your community who answer the call to "drop everything and respond!".
