Mineola firefighters responded to the following calls August 3 – 9.
The following information was supplied by the Mineola Fire Department. A call does not necessarily indicate that a fire actually took place, only that an alarm or call for assistance was made.
August 3: 11:20 a.m. – 241 Marcellus Road
August 4: 12:54 p.m. – 100 Main St.
August 5
- 3:25 p.m. – 380 Sagamore Road – brush fire
- 3:32 p.m. – 111 East Jericho Turnpike (Sherwin Williams)
- 4:07 p.m. – 311 Jericho Turnpike (Chaminade Athletic Center) – crews resurfacing the gym floor set off smoke alarm.
August 6: 5:33 p.m. – 51 Charles St.
August 7: 12:11 p.m. – 77 Jericho Turnpike (Gaspar Industries)
August 9: 7:59 a.m. – 31 East Second St. (Dover Publications)
