Fire Blotter: College of Chinese Medicine and Pedestrians Struck

Mineola firefighters responded to the following calls November 17 – 23.

The following information was supplied by the Mineola Fire Department. A call does not necessarily indicate that a fire actually took place, only that an alarm or call for assistance was made.

November 18: 11:18 a.m. – 355 White Road

November 19

  • 8:08 a.m. – 155 First St. (New York College of Chinese Medicine)
  • 5:58 p.m. – 100 Charles St.

November 20: Washington Avenue east in front of village hall was closed from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. for Christmas tree trimming.

November 21: 2:45 p.m. – 228 East Jericho Turnpike (North Shore Farms) – two elderly pedestrians stuck

I'm sorry Marie but there is no information about when the project will actually start. TheRead More developer had requested an extension from the board at a previous meeting and we do not know of a firm start date. When we do receive one, we will most certainly publish it.
