Additional burglary charges added to Morris Santaniello, alleged Birchwood Court burglar.

A Bronx man who according to police allegedly broke into several apartments in the Birchwood Court complex in Mineola is facing additional charges from the Long Beach Police Department.

Morris Santaniello, 60, is facing four counts of felony burglary in addition to new charges stemming from a burglary of a Shore Road building in Long Beach on March 13.

Santaniello was arrested on April 11 through a joint effort of Nassau County Police Third Precinct officers, New York State Police and Long Beach Police.

Long Beach police added their charges to those already existing against Santaniello on Wednesday. He was scheduled to be arraigned on the second degree burglary charge in Long Beach City Court that same day.
