Man Hit By Car Trying to Cross Old Country Road

A 58 year old man was struck by a car Thursday night in Mineola near Old Country Road and Main Street.

A 58 year old man was struck by a car in Mineola Thursday night as he was attempting to cross Old Country Road near the Main Street intersection.

The incident occurred at 6:42 p.m. as the man was headed north across the road and was hit by the westbound car.

According to a report the man suffered nonlife-threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital.
