Mineola Crime Blotter: Damaged Property, Stolen Shirts and Marijuana Arrest

Third Precinct police responded to the following calls January 1 – 9 in Mineola.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department Third Precinct. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.


Mineola


Jan. 6: An unknown person(s) damaged property at a home on Second Street between 6 p.m. on Jan. 6 and 6:30 a.m. on Jan. 7.

New Hyde Park


Jan. 5: Unknown subject(s) removed 45 shirts from a display table inside the New York & Co. store at 1436 Union Turnpike in North New Hyde Park between 3:30 p.m. and 4:20 p.m.
Jan. 6: Police arrested Michael Anthony Giangrande of New Hyde Park on criminal charges of possessing marijuana on Curtis Avenue at 8:50 p.m.
Jan. 8: The window of a parked car was damaged at the corner of Third Avenue and South 12th Street between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m.
