Mineola Crime Blotter: Identity Theft, Restaurant Robbed and Graffiti

Third Precinct police responded to the following calls October 1 – 7 in Mineola.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department Third Precinct. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Mineola


Oct. 1: Police are investigating a case of identity theft at 339 White Road which occurred with an unauthorized checking account at about 4:30 p.m.

Oct. 3: an iPad and case were reported stolen from 267 Mineola Blvd. at 1 p.m.

Oct. 4: Between July 1 and Oct. 4 a total of $2,000 was stolen from The St. James Restaurant at 190 Second St.

Oct. 4: Graffiti was found on the rear door of Harry Katz Carpet at 450 East Jericho Turnpike between 12 p.m. on Oct. 4 and 4 p.m. on Oct. 5.

Williston Park


Oct. 1: Costume jewelry, a gold Rolex and two tennis bracelets were reported stolen at 137 Hillside Ave. at 5:40 p.m.
