A pair of armed men robbed a dry cleaning store in Mineola Monday evening, making away with an unknown amount of cash and jewelry.
According to , at approximately 6:15 p.m., two black males entered the , located at 352 East Jericho Turnpike, through an open rear door. One of the men demanded money from a 43-year old male victim, who surrendered an unknown amount of cash. The thief then made the victim open a cash register where an unknown amount of money was also removed.
The second thief, meanwhile took assorted jewelry from a 38-year old female victim, police said. Both suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction.
No injuries were reported.
