Mineola Fire Department Responds to Car Accidents Tuesday

Sedan precariously perched at Key Court parking garage.

The Mineola Fire Department responded to two car accidents on Tuesday morning, using extraction tools to pop open doors and free the drivers.

The first accident occurred at 7:37 a.m. at the parking garage of the Key Court Condominiums at 300 Old Country Road where a car had gone partially over the edge of the second-story level.

The second call took place at 9 a.m. on Third Avenue and Third Street in which a sedan was impacted on the driver’s side.

Mineola firefighters used an extraction tool to literally peel the driver’s door back and help rescue the driver of the vehicle.

There were no reported injuries in either accident.

I'm sorry Marie but there is no information about when the project will actually start. TheRead More developer had requested an extension from the board at a previous meeting and we do not know of a firm start date. When we do receive one, we will most certainly publish it.
