Police Searching for Two Suspects in Western Beef Armed Robbery

The incident took place Sunday morning at 2:45 a.m.

An employee of the in Mineola was robbed by two men with guns early Sunday morning.

According to Nassau County detectives, around 2:45 a.m., police responded to the Western Beef at 61 East 2nd Street for an alarm. Upon arrival, officers entered a rear open door and found a-46-year-old male employee tied up with plastic zip ties lying on the floor.

The victim told police that he was cleaning the store when two males armed with handguns entered the rear door, tied him up and took cash from his pocket, police said. The suspects then fled on foot in an unknown direction.

There was no loss to the store and no injuries were reported, police said.

Police did not have any further description of the suspects.
