Additional Nassau Hub Hearing Dates Announced

Hearing for North Hempstead residents on July 19.

In preparation for the upcoming August 1 vote on the new Nassau Coliseum, several new public hearing and informational sessions have been scheduled around the county.

The public meetings will focus on the county’s economic development plans and economics associated with the proposed creating a sports-entertainment center in the area in and around the Nassau Coliseum.

“In order for residents to make an informed decision, I am committed to making sure all of the information is available to answer any questions the community may have.  I have made certain that the voices of our residents will be heard at a public referendum to be held on August 1,” County Executive Ed Mangano said in a statement.
