Charging Station at Mineola Village Hall to Remain Open After Sandy

Residents advised to bring their power cords to charge devices.

The Village of Mineola opened a charging station for residents’ use on Thursday.

According to an e-mail sent from village officials, residents who are relying on cellular phones and other portable devices for communications during the hurricane can charge their devices at the Mineola Village Hall and Community Center at 155 Washington Avenue, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every day.

The charging station will be open this weekend November 3-4.

Residents must also bring their device’s charging cables.

I do not know what you mean by a "senior building." Please be more specific. If you areRead More talking about the Winston-Churchill project and not a senior assisted living facility, we have a small update here: http://mineola.patch.com/groups/politics-and-elections/p/flood-mitigation-apartment-projects-moving-forward
