Issues Facing Mineola in 2012: Paul Cusato

Village trustee lists most pressing issues facing the village in 2012.

On the eve of the 2012 village election, Patch asked Mineola Village Trustee Paul Cusato what he felt were the most critical issues facing the village in 2012. Cusato, the sole member of the Hometown party on the board, is for his fourth term on the board.

Among the issues which Cusato deems as most important in his view is the , representing the village at several meetings of the Carle Place Civic Association.

He also mentioned that , he “too want to see a ring-size soccer field down by ” and is also of the feeling that many of the village’s infrastructure needs to be “renovated and redone.”

Regarding the 2012 fiscal budget, Cusato stated that “obviously I want to give people the biggest bang for their buck. You want to give them the services without raising their taxes. It’s always an issue; we always work hard. You always want to make a decent budget.”
