Martins and Schimel Discuss Issues in Their District
Sate representatives speak with voters about concerns at League of Women Voters meeting.
New York State , R-Mineola, and Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel, D-Great Neck, were the featured speakers at a League of Women Voters Port Washington-Manhasset meeting held Thursday at the Manhasset Public Library.
The topic, “What’s Happening in Albany This Year?," drew lots of questions from constituents. Martins and Schimel spoke about their working relationship, retaining business on Long Island, governement consolidation and more.
