Martins and Schimel to Talk Albany at League of Women Voters

Discussionto be held at Manhasset Public Library on Oct. 5 at 1 p.m.

What's happening in Albany this year, and how does it affect you?  and Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel will inform the community at the opening League of Women Voters meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at the Manhasset Public Library. 

Residents are encouraged to attend and to find out where our New York State elected officials stand on issues important to the community.  

“The public is urged to attend and bring lots of questions to ask of our elected officials as the new session in Albany begins,” said Jane Thomas, president of the Port Washington-Manhasset league, in a statement.

This event is free to the public and coffee and dessert will be served. It is the LVW's opening event for the year.
