Nassau residents can enjoy an extra hour at the pool complex at Christopher Morley Park on Saturday, when temperatures may near 100 degrees.
In an effort to help locals beat the heat, Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano is keeping county pools open until 7 p.m.
Located in Roslyn-North Hills, the swimming complex at Christopher Morley features an Olympic-size pool, a diving tank with boards, and a kiddie pool, as well as a wooded preserve. For more information, call 516-571-8113.
