A Blizzard Warning has been issued for Nassau County

Between four to nine inches of snow is forecast to hit the area from Thursday evening to 6 pm Friday, January 3.

Mineola residents and businesses are reminded by village officials that all vehicles must be removed from all streets once 2 inches of snow has fallen.

Vehicles must remain off streets until 24 hours after snowfall ends or until plowing is completed, whichever event first occurs.

Code Enforcement officers will be on duty to enforce snow regulations.

What municipal lots are available to park in without a permit during this period of time?

I'm hoping Code Enforcement is as diligent in ticketing those who like to throw and blow their snow into the streets. Instead of waving at their "friends" as they drive by.
