Trash Collection Schedule for Columbus Day 2012
Special schedule for trash collection in Mineola the week of September 8-12.
Mineola village offices will be closed on Monday Oct. 8, 2012, for the observance of Columbus Day.
The holiday collection schedule for this week is as follows:
- If your normal collection days are Monday and Thursday, your garbage will be collected on Tuesday and Thursday.
- If your normal collection days are Tuesday and Friday, your garbage will be collected on Wednesday and Friday.
- Recycling, Rubbish, and Newspaper collection will remain unchanged.
- Compost will be collected Friday Oct. 12, 2012.
Residents and businesses are reminded not to leave trash on the curb over the holiday weekend.
