Mineola village offices will be closed on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 for the observance of President’s Day.
The holiday collection schedule for this week is as follows:
- If your normal collection days are Monday and Thursday, your garbage will be collected on Tuesday and Thursday.
- If your normal collection days are Tuesday and Friday, your garbage will be collected Wednesday and Friday.
- Recycling, rubbish and newspaper collection will remain unchanged.
- Yard waste will be collected on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013.
Residents and businesses are reminded to kindly respect others and do not place refuse on the street for pickup over the holiday weekend.
