Seniors – don’t let hip or knee pain slow you down! Come to a free lecture about hip and knee replacements, and learn how you can return to the simple pleasures of an active life.
Winthrop-University Hospital’s “Health Update for Seniors” community wellness series will present a free program, “Joint Replacements: More Options than Ever,” on Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at 1:15 PM. The program will be held at the Mineola Community Center, 155 Washington Avenue in Mineola.
James Capozzi, MD, Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Winthrop, will explain the evaluation process for hip and knee pain, and the latest advances in treatment options. A question and answer period will follow the lecture.

Attendees will have the opportunity to have their blood pressure checked after the lecture, at 2:45 PM. Admission is free, but seating is limited.
