Diabetes: Solving the Highs & Lows of Blood Sugar Free Lecture

Are you tired of riding the blood glucose roller coaster? People with diabetes can become frustrated because their readings are higher or lower than they would like. To help manage this issue, Winthrop-University Hospital’s Perspectives in Health wellness series will offer a free program, “Diabetes: Solving the Highs & Lows of Blood Sugar,” on Thursday, November 3, 2011.  Presented by the Diabetes Education Center at Winthrop, the program will begin with a products fair at 6:30 PM, followed by a lecture at 7:30 PM.  It will be held at the Winthrop Community Outreach Center, located at 101 Mineola Boulevard, at the corner of Second Street in Mineola.
