On March 23, 2011, Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano will host a free Small Business Workshop to provide valuable resources to entrepreneurs and small business owners here in Nassau County. The workshop will provide small business owners with pertinent information about how to register, obtain certification and procure government contracts. Currently, the County provides programs, informational courses and services to help promote small business growth here in Nassau.
Panelists participating in the Small Business Workshop include representatives from the Community Development Corporation of Long Island, Small Business Administration, Procurement Technical Assistance Center, North East Small Business Transportation Resource Center, La Guardia Community College, Nassau County’s Office of Minority Affairs and Nassau County Purchasing Department.
