Hampton Street Students Raise Money for American Heart Association

Mineola elementary students raise more than $3,500.

With hearts a-flutter for Valentine’s Day, Hampton Street School students in the Mineola Union Free School District have been using their hearts for some more heart-healthy purposes.

Elementary students recently spent time participating in the classic Jump Rope for Heart program by performing hopscotch, jumping through hoops and jumping rope.

Students collected sponsorship money to participate in the program and have raised more than $3,500 to date for the American Heart Association.

I'm sorry Marie but there is no information about when the project will actually start. TheRead More developer had requested an extension from the board at a previous meeting and we do not know of a firm start date. When we do receive one, we will most certainly publish it.
