Jackson Avenue School Holds 2012 “Back to School” Social

Students enjoy games, line dances and activities at welcome back event.

Students at the Jackson Avenue School recently held a “Back to School Social” to start the 2012-13 school year.

The event was sponsored by the Jackson Avenue School PTA, who wanted to celebrate the wonderful children of the school community and thank Mrs. Patricia Molloy for a smooth and exciting opening to the 2012-2013 school year.

Jackson Avenue reopened last year only as a third and fourth grade building, educating all of the students across the district.

The celebration included a DJ, cotton candy, popcorn, and ices for the students and their families. Held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the rear of the school, students engaged in cooperative games, line dances, and good old fashioned running around.

I do not know what you mean by a "senior building." Please be more specific. If you areRead More talking about the Winston-Churchill project and not a senior assisted living facility, we have a small update here: http://mineola.patch.com/groups/politics-and-elections/p/flood-mitigation-apartment-projects-moving-forward
